We can achieve education in different ways. Since child, we learned in different things in different persons and different ways. We start to learn something when our parents noticed that we can understand what they say. For example, when we are just a babies, they teach us on how to do so many things, like how to eat foods, how to hold it correctly, how to sip in a straw, how to say mama and dada, how to pee, how to play that toys, how to do that and that. Little by little we learn, through experiences and through the teachings of our guardians or our parents. Our parents and guardians have an important role for the learning or education of their child. That is why or parents or guardians should also have education first before they can teach us. Because what they have learned they just pass it to us. We also start to learn some difficult things while our parents enter us in school. It helps us know the deep meaning of the things around us. When we enter in school, we learned some of the basic things or basic information that we need to know. And as time goes by, our education will be developing until the time comes that we can use it to be successful in life.

Values education does not refer to us as a study of only the values itself. It also refers to the learning of how to value something; it is not just talking about the characteristics of a person. We can also learned here about what is maturity, you can say that you are already mature if you know how to sacrifice you own happiness, you already know what is right and wrong, and also if you learned how to appreciate or value even less things, and you will also learn how to love your enemies. You can also learn here the 3 main concepts of learning values education, which is the man, values and ethics. Man refers to a social being that has body, soul and spirit, whiles values is the standard of morality wherein here you will know to right things and you will also know how to make things right, while a ethics, it is the personal behavior and attitude or personality of a person. Also here we can learn or we can know our priority in life. And also what value is, value, it is the way how we appreciate things and the importance of things even the person we have. Therefore, we can say learning values education is fun. We can learn so many things.

Do we consider education as one of the most important things in our life? For me, education is one of the most important things in our life. All of the people should consider the importance of education in our life. Each of us cannot be successful if we don’t have education. Most of the successful people today value their education during their time. Some other people think that it is not important, as long as you can work. But, think of it, are you contented with what you have now? Did you think that your salary today can make your feature family healthy and can satisfy their needs? Maybe your salary now can satisfy your own need, but not your feature family and your current family involving your parents and siblings. We can learn so many things in school. Don’t let our children be an uneducated person too. Of course, no parents want their children to grow up sacrificing and grow up innocent. Today, it is important for each of us to become an educated person, just to live and to give our own basic needs, because if you are an educated person, you can have a good job in the feature. You can also pass this to your feature children and grand children.

How can we say that a man is educated? Is it just judging his personal appearance, or the things he have? Maybe I can say it is not just like that because, an educated man refers to the man that finished his studies, or attained a particular degree in school like for example a four year degree courses, next is, an educated person knows how to entertain himself and others or the people who believe in you, next is when the man knows what he is doing, he know the purpose why did he do that, and also he know how he do it. Last one is, an educated man for me is those who are God fearing, those person who follow the will of God and not just their own will, a part of it, is loving others not just yourself and your family, but even loving your enemies, it is hard, but if we love god, we must learned how to forgive those who sinned in us. And also an educated person should know how to carry the truth. Some others believe that if you finished your studies, it means that you are already an educated person, but I believe it is just a start. What will you do with your achievements or degree that you attained if you are a not God fearing person.

This morning, we have our discussions in our subject child and adolescent development, our professor mention about this question, “is it true, that your studies is your priority?”, one of our classmate answered proudly, that studies not his priority, our professor ask why, he said that it is because his priority is serving in their church, he also mentioned that because in their church he is serving God not with his self, for me, his reason is right, because it is more important if we priority God before anything else, but of course, we need to priority Him with works, not just telling it. It is better to not say it, just do it, it show it in your work. Way back in our discussions in this morning. My teacher explains the question she ask, because she says that some student keep on telling that their prioritize their studies, but in fact, they have more time to spend with their boy friend compare in studying their lessons, my professor mention too that going to school is not counted if you calculate your time of studying, because she said that in school your just an stand by like in your house watching a movie, because some students does not even recite, and she also mention, that some students that their boy friend is their school mate also, during break their spending their time flirting with their boy friend than studying their lessons.

Being a student is not as easy as what others expect. To go to school and study is a blessing which we don’t have to waste because we can learn something in school that can help us do a lot of things. Every student is unique to each other because there’s a kind of student which is a fast learner and other are slow learners. Those characteristics of students are observable. Others, especially teachers can classify students as diligent, intelligent and easy go lucky student. Diligent students are those who always do their assignments and pass their projects on time. They are on the average level. Meanwhile, intelligent students are those who can cope up the lesson easier and faster, they always excel on the class, but a student to be able to become intelligent they should be diligent too. Easy go lucky students are those who always depend on the work of their classmates. They are the kind of student that don’t review their lessons every examination. Many students didn’t understand why they should go to school; they should know that they go to school not just to learn but also because it is our key to our success to have a better future. Studying may assure our life in our future. If our teacher shows their patience just for us to learn, we also need to have patience in doing a lot of things. We have to give our beat to have and better life and future.

I really admire those students who are competing in other school in an academic and athletic meet. I’d like to watch them and see how they compete to know who’s the best but also I feel jealous because we don’t experience that during our batch in our school, we experienced different program, but of course we even want to experience to compete in other school, not just because we want to prove them that we are good than them but because we want to meet new friends, we like to see what other schools look like, we like to know how they are trained in their school and we would like also to know how dedicated is their teachers to teach them. We really want to see the differences between a private and a public school, and also compare public school to another public school and private school to another private school. I even experience to study in both private and public, I can see some similarities and some differences, when it comes to the athletes some private and public schools who trained their players ahead of time before the competition, sometimes their players will not attend their class because of their training. They not considering if their student will learn their lessons sometimes they are just after the honor for the school. Yes, some of them can use their talent for their future.

Now a day, having an education is an essential part of our life, it is also part of being wise. Because we can do many things if we have knowledge, it is also important when you want to survived in life or if you want to reach a higher position in a company. Of course, you cannot be promoted unless you are qualified, some or I can say, almost all of the companies today want an educated man to be part of their company, our professor in English one’s share his experiences when he was one of the HR department of their company, where her job is to select the right future employees of their company, he said that sometimes they are very judgmental in terms of selecting an applicant because when they see the transcript of records of their applicant and see that he got a lower grades in school, they will not accept that applicant, because as my professor said, he believes that what you performed when you are still in the school, is still your future performance when you graduated and have a job. Your performance as a student will reflect in your transcript. That is why I believe that in finding a job, you’ll have to be an educated person first, you should finished your studies and you must performed well, it stand also as a practice for your future job, for you to find a good job.

Education can be attained formally and also informally. Those educations that attained formally are learned in school, with formal training, and formal process. Or we can say a step by step process of learning. When we start to think, that is the beginning of our learning stage, or our education. Literally, the first stage that we gone through is the pre-school stage, wherein we learned to basic things, like alphabets, numbers, shapes, colors, how to read and write that. In short it is the first stage, wherein we can learn all the basic. Then, after we gone through that stage, we can now enter the second stage which is the elementary stage, where we start to think more harder lessons compare to those in preschool stage. We start to learned some basic mathematics, more difficult pronunciations and spellings, higher logical thinking and so many things, the third stage is the high school stage, wherein all the lessons are more difficult, in this stage we need to have more patience in studying and more logic to answer the problems that is given to us. The lessons are harder compare to the first two stages, and the other stage is when we are in college, in this stage, we can use what forte we want, we can choose what we want in the future, in this stage we are molding our better feature. That is why all of us must treasure and give more time in our education.

It is very fun to be a student, but it is also hard because you are obliged to wake up and take a bath so early in the morning, you need to iron your uniform, and then wait for the jitney or bus to arrive, then after that sometime when you are already in school you will experience that your professor would not come on your class, and then you will wait again because you have a vacant of 3 hours. These are only some of the hardships of the students. But I can also say that studying is very fun especially if you really want your course, every day the topic has been very interesting, new ideas, new lesson learned, new experiences. But sometimes even though you really like your course there are subjects you might really dislike especially those minor subjects, like drawing, music, English, Filipino, and others. Sometimes we even say that “Why do we need to take up this subject where in fact it is not related on our major or course?” but we have to accept the fact that it is part of the curriculum. We just need to keep in our mind that not all people have the opportunity to have an education.
